Section-sewn through the spine rather than glued, the binding allows the notebook to open fully flat while maintaining its strength over time. Built to withstand years of use.
A water-resistant hardcover protects the page block during daily transport.
Paper behaviour
1024 pages of 70 GSM acid-free paper were selected to balance substance with practicality. At this depth, heavier paper would compromise portability.
The uncoated surface has a soft, natural texture that supports steady writing without artificial finish.
Suitable for ballpoints, rollerballs, pencils, graphite and light marker use.

I’ve loved keeping this journal since March. Not exactly a junk journal, but certainly a diary with daily thoughts, documents and stickers in that mean something to me. The spine has kept resilient throughout and I’ve had one book to keep my notes in on book reviews, places I’ve travelled in the UK, and memories of singing Noah Kahan in someone’s car, on long drives. I’ve loved keeping this journal and can’t wait for there to be more in stock. I’d go for a brown one next time, but this pale blue has been lovely.
Shamelessly big fat book filling up with thoughts and drawings. So much will go in here. It will feel like a grimoire. Yet to review and use my other lovely sketchbook because of this bad boy.

I am really very pleased with the basenotes huge note book. I am currently trying to write a story of my childhood, encouraged by folk who think it is an unusual tale !! It is just great to have everything in one place and also it is out on the table all the time, so I can just jot down notes. I have the blue one and it looks lovely just lying around !!!!

I have been looking for a really thick, well bound, notebook to write my recipes. I couldn’t find any in the usual book or stationery stores or even online.
Luckily I saw the basenotes ad and placed an order immediately for the 1024 page ruled notebook in blue.
Arrived promptly. The pages have a nice quality feel and a slight graininess that I love. They also don’t stick to each other and they can be turned easily. Very happy with the purchase.
The things I would have loved to see are (having payed a premium price…) : more options : ruled-with or without margin, numbered pages, bookmark, different sizes etc…
it sits on my dining room table looking fabulous. i have yet to write anything in it as it is such a statement piece i fear that anything i write will not be up to it. such a wonderful idea and beatifully made.
Fantastic notebook that feels solid and well put together. The considerable size makes it the perfect option for the database I've been compiling for a while.
Although I would prefer thicker paper being used, it would result in a rather heavy notebook so all in all, I can't fault this product. Highly recommended!
Nice and thick! Paper a little rough and ‘catches’ a fine nib. Would prefer smoother paper quality and its expensive. But used over years, probably worth the price. So lets see how it holds up over time?
Nice. Id prefer a smoother paper as the current paper is rather rough and catches a fine nibbed pen but thats just my preference. Its great to have so many pages in a well bound book. Expensive but worth the cost if well used. Thank you.

This notebook is really high quality and for its size and the amount of pages it is really worth keeping for prolongued studies… i had a problem with the tracking being updated on the site so the seller kindly sent me a replacement with the fastest shipping as i was unsure if my order had been shipped yet.
