What are your shipping options?

We offer standard and express shipping options. Standard shipping typically takes 3-5 business days within the UK. Express shipping ensures delivery within 1-2 business days.

Do you ship internationally?

*The shipping times given are based on estimations provided by our couriers. We cannot guarantee that orders will be received within this time frame. Please allow up to 30 days for your order when selecting standard shipping terms; this is a tracked service and you should have received your tracking code in your shipping confirmation email.

As your order is shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid), orders being shipped internationally may incur duties, fees and import taxes upon delivery. This charge is determined by your local customs authority and must be paid to your local carrier or government in order to receive your order. These fees are not collected by basenotes. basenotes is unable to refund any additional duties, fees, or import taxes.

The shipping cost is based on weight and can be calculated at checkout.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund on postage if orders arrive outside the estimated time frame, as this is out of our control. An item being sent to Europe is only considered lost (refund will be issued or replacement offered) if it’s not delivered within 20 business days after the date it was due to be delivered. For an item going to the rest of the world, it’s 25 business days.

Where is my order confirmation?

Once you have placed an order, you should receive an email confirmation to the email address you provided at checkout. If for some reason you did not receive this email, please check your spam/junk folders before contacting us.

What happens if no one is in to receive my parcel?

A calling card should be left if no one is available to receive your parcel; the courier may try to re-deliver the next day.

What should I do if my order is missing?

If you are in the UK and have not received your order within 6 working days of the date on which you ordered them, then please notify us via email at support@basenotes.co.

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number on our website or the courier’s site to track your order.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

Should you wish to return your basenotes purchase, you're welcome to do so within 30 days of receipt. All returned items must be sent back to us unused and in their original condition/packaging. If 30 days have passed, we are unfortunately unable to accept your return.

How do I return an item?

To request a return, please contact our customer service team at support@basenotes.co. We will provide you with the necessary instructions. Use a trackable shipping method to send the item back to us. Once we receive the item, we will process your refund.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after we receive your returned item. The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, exchanges are possible for items of equal value, subject to availability. Please contact our customer service team to arrange an exchange.

How do I cancel my order?

If you need to cancel your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but please note that orders that have already been processed and shipped cannot be canceled.

Can I amend my order after it has been placed?

If you need to amend your order, please contact our customer service team immediately. Changes can only be made if the order has not yet been processed.
