Construction & Materials

The 1122 sketchbook uses 127 GSM acid-free paper selected for durability and clarity. The weight supports dry media and repeated handling while remaining practical within a 192-page format.

The block is hand-sewn in sections and opens fully flat across its width. This lay-flat structure is essential to the format, allowing the full square surface to remain usable without tension at the spine.

Interleaved tracing sheets sit between the pages, protecting finished work and allowing overlays, refinements or adjustments without marking the original drawing.
